Zhoushan International Sand Sculpture Festival

1st 1999 Peace And Friendship September of 1999,the first Zhoushan International Sand Sculpture Festival created an area of sand sculpture art of China. Peace and Friendship was the subject of that sand sculpture game.	2nd 2000 Century Wonders July and August in 2000,the second Zhoushan International Sand Sculpture Festival was held in Nansha of Zhujiajian and its subject was Century Wonders.
3rd 2001 The Origin of Europe Culture September of 2001,the third Zhoushan International Sand Sculpture Festival with the subject of The Origin of Europe Culture was held in Zhujiajian. This festival attracted more than 200,000 visitors from all over the world.	4th 2002 The Eight Wonders of The World The fourth Zhoushan International Sand Sculpture Festival was held in Nansha of Zhujiajian on September and October,2002.Its subject was The Eight Wonders of The World which showed the historical wonders of four continents culture.
5th 2003 The Silk Road In 2003, all the sand sculpture works were accomplished by Chinese sculptors in the 5th Zhoushan International Sand Sculpture Festival with the subject of The Silk Road which is famous in Chinese history.	6th 2004 Love Forever The 6th Zhoushan International Sand Sculpture Festival took Love Forever as its subject. The sand sculpture works, that were mainly created realistically, showed the outstanding love stories at all times and in all over the world adequately.
7th 2005 Move Toward The Sea The 7th Zhoushan International Sand Sculpture Festival with the subject of Move Toward The Sea opened on July.	8th 2006 Animation Party With the subject of Animation Party, the sand sculpture works in the 8th Zhoushan International Sand Sculpture Festival exhibited the cartoon element thoroughly.
9th 2007 Olympics Sand Sculpture The 9th Zhoushan International Sand Sculpture Festival with the subject of Olympics History was authorized an item supported by the cultural department of the 29th Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games.	10th 2008 Wonders of the World Island 2008, The 10th Zhoushan International Sand Sculpture Festival, "Wonders of the World Island" as its theme, the content to be displayed on the World Sand Sculpture Sea Island culture, communication, marine culture, described the marine and human relations, in the form, using competition and exhibition, combined with the combination of monomers.
11th 2009 The Future Ocean City Previous sculpture is basically conducted on site in the square created this year, the sand sculptures on the theme "the Future Ocean City." "The Future Ocean City" is an artificial island, so this year we will break through the traditional sand sculptures, sand sculpture, square space, with three ovalshaped structure.	12th 2010 OPENNING SOON...
